RF Sales Engineer - Micro RF Sales – Chicago, IL


Terriotory: Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa   

Micro RF Sales and Services is an established, successful manufacturer sales representative covering Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. The company is growing and looking for the right person to come on board to grow with us. 

The ideal candidate will be highly technical in the areas of RF design and EMI/EMC shielding. Micro RF Sales services customers in   telecommunication, military/aerospace, healthcare and automotive markets. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the sales process and the ability to prospect, develop opportunities and close sales. She or he will be well organized, able to manage their time and multiple demands and establish  and maintain productive relationships. Candidate must live within territory, prefer central near Chicago.


  • Solicit and understand customer requirements for RF design and EMC shielding.
  • Present technical solutions which meet or exceed the specification
  • Grow existing accounts by building relationships with existing clients and getting referrals for new prospects
  • Prospect via leads and networking, respond in a timely manner to customer and manufacturer requests and maximize order activity in territory
  • Maintain a high-quality company CRM and report activity in a timely manner
  • Attend appropriate events (manufacturer training, conferences, trade shows, etc.)


  • 2+ years technical sales experience (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience in RF Design and/or EMI/EMC Shielding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Outgoing, motivated and persuasive
  • Relational, authentic and interested in helping customers
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, prioritizing and time management skills
  • Ability to develop healthy relationships with customers, manufacturers and colleagues
  • Passion for continuous personal growth
  • Commitment to continuous learning in electronics technology and professional selling
